Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Savepond collects, why it is used, and which external services help process it.

Information we collect

We may collect the account identifier, email address, name, and profile image URL provided during Google or Kakao sign-in.
We store URLs, normalized URLs, titles, sources, domains, YouTube video IDs, thumbnail URLs, notes, tags, statuses, favorites, and collection information entered or saved by the user.
Operational records such as login sessions, creation and modification times, and account-deletion request status may be stored while the service is operated.

Information is used to separate each user's link library and allow only that user to view, edit, and delete their data.
It is used to provide link previews, search, filtering, and collection-sharing features.
Minimum necessary operational records may be used to diagnose errors, maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve service quality.

Supabase is used for authentication, the database, and Row Level Security that separates data by user.
Google and Kakao are social sign-in providers, and each provider's privacy policy also applies.
The YouTube Data API and YouTube CDN may be used to display metadata and thumbnails for YouTube links.
Vercel is used to deploy and host the Savepond web application.

After public-page quality review and operational preparation are complete, Savepond may display advertising on public pages through Google AdSense.
When advertising is displayed, Google AdSense and advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, limit frequency, prevent abuse, and measure advertising performance.
Google may use advertising cookies to provide personalized ads based on visits to Savepond or other sites. Users can manage or turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com.
If a third-party advertising provider or network other than Google serves ads, that provider may also use cookies or similar technologies. Relevant notices and choices will be provided when required.
Advertising will not initially be placed in the signed-in personal library. Review will begin with signed-out public surfaces such as public collections and the home page.
Personalized advertising and advertising scripts remain restricted until the required flow for a Google-certified CMP or Google Privacy & messaging consent notice has been confirmed.
If personalized advertising or related tracking technologies are offered to users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Savepond will use a Google-certified CMP or a consent flow that meets Google Privacy & messaging requirements.

Private collections and personal links are designed to be visible only to the signed-in owner.
When a user makes a collection public, the collection title, description, and public display information for included links may be exposed through its sharing URL.
Public collection pages limit the displayed fields so internal information such as private notes is not exposed.
Savepond is a tool for organizing links and metadata. Publication in a collection does not grant or warrant rights to the original content.
For YouTube links, the URL, video ID, limited metadata, and YouTube CDN thumbnail URL may be used within the public display boundary.
Savepond does not store or redistribute video, audio, caption, or thumbnail files and does not bypass the public status or access restrictions of the original service.
Savepond distinguishes lawful adult content from illegal or rights-infringing content. Even lawful adult content may be restricted from public-sharing surfaces.
Sensitive links or links that may violate operating standards can be excluded from public collections even when they remain in a private library.
Copyright or rights-infringement reports about public collections are accepted at [email protected]. During review, Savepond may confirm the reporter's contact details and reason for the report together with the affected collection slug and link.

Personal information and saved data are retained while the service is used.
After an account-deletion request is verified, the account and its related links, tags, collections, collection relationships, and user preferences are deleted.
After deletion is complete, previous links, notes, tags, collections, and public sharing URLs cannot be restored.
Information required by law or needed for security-incident response or rights-infringement handling may be retained separately for the necessary period.
