Terms
Savepond Terms of Service
These terms describe the basic conditions for saving and managing links, notes, tags, and collections with Savepond.
Effective date: 2026-05-18
Purpose of the service
- Savepond helps users save and organize links they want to revisit, including YouTube videos, GitHub repositories, documents, and web pages.
- Users can enter or edit the title, source, notes, tags, status, and collection information for each link.
- Public collection sharing is available only for collections that a user explicitly makes public.
Accounts and sign-in
- Savepond provides sign-in through Google OAuth and Kakao OAuth.
- Users must sign in with an account they are authorized to manage and must not share account access with another person.
- Kakao sign-in may be unavailable in some environments depending on provider configuration and review status.
User content
- URLs, titles, notes, tags, statuses, and collection descriptions saved by a user are content managed by that user.
- Users may save or publish only links they are authorized to share. They must not save or publicly share content that infringes copyright, privacy, constitutes defamation or defamatory content, violates applicable law, or infringes another person's rights.
- Lawful adult content may be kept in a private library, but it may be restricted from public collections.
- Illegal adult content, content involving minors, non-consensual recordings or intimate imagery, exploitative material, and clear rights-infringing content are prohibited from both saving and sharing and may be blocked under Savepond's operating standards.
- Savepond may restrict access to a public collection or request its removal when it clearly violates applicable law or the service's operating standards.
External services and links
- Savepond is a tool for organizing links and metadata. It does not guarantee access to an original URL, the accuracy of external content, or the continued availability of an external service.
- Savepond does not grant or warrant rights to original content.
- For YouTube links, Savepond organizes the URL, video ID, limited metadata, and the YouTube CDN thumbnail URL.
- Savepond does not store or redistribute video, audio, caption, or thumbnail files.
- Savepond does not provide its own player, downloads, ad removal, or features that bypass access restrictions.
- YouTube thumbnails and some metadata may be displayed under the policies of the YouTube CDN or YouTube Data API.
- Some preview information may become unavailable because of changes to an external service's terms, privacy settings, removal decisions, or API limits.
Public collection sharing standards
- Opening a link in a public collection sends the visitor to the original URL or the official YouTube source.
- Users may include only links they are authorized to share and must not share them in a way that infringes copyright or another person's rights.
- The public collection interface identifies the YouTube source, original channel, and original link so visitors understand that the destination is external content rather than content hosted by Savepond.
- Links that are removed, private, embed-restricted, sensitive, or blocked may be hidden or unavailable in public collections.
Rights-infringement reports and removal requests
- Send copyright or rights-infringement reports to [email protected]. Include the public collection slug, the affected link, contact details for the rights holder or reporter, and the reason for the report.
- Reports may be submitted by a victim or a third party. High-risk reports involving non-consensual intimate imagery, minors, or exploitative material receive priority over general inquiries.
- Savepond may temporarily hide clearly infringing or high-risk content after receiving a report.
- After review, Savepond may restore the material, request a correction, permanently block it, or delete it. When necessary, Savepond may also review an objection or restoration request from the reporter or collection owner.
- When Savepond becomes aware of suspected illegal content, it may take necessary measures such as restricting access, preserving relevant information, reporting the matter, or requesting removal.
- Repeat infringers and clearly infringing collections may be subject to public-sharing restrictions, account restrictions, or collection removal.
Service changes and limitation of liability
- During the beta period, features, screens, data structures, and the scope of the service may change after notice.
- Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, Savepond is not responsible for losses caused by unavailable external links, incorrect user input, or failures of third-party services.
- Users should keep a separate backup of important materials.
Operator information
- Savepond is operated as a beta service by Solver Lab.
- Service notices may be provided in the application or through [email protected].
- If Savepond later offers paid features that require business registration or an e-commerce filing, the relevant business information will be disclosed separately.
Contact
- Send questions about the service, error reports, or account matters to [email protected].
- Including your browser, the page where the issue occurred, and the URL you were trying to save will help us investigate more quickly.
